Charging on a standard outlet gets you a handful of miles an hour. A Level 2 charger fills the battery overnight. OSB installs home and workplace EV charging across South Wellfleet, including the load calculation your panel actually needs.
“We had knob-and-tube in the attic and our insurer was getting nervous. They rewired in stages so we never lost power for more than a few hours at a time.”
“Sold our house and the buyer's inspector flagged eight electrical items. OSB fixed all of them in one visit and wrote it up so we could close on time.”
“Our panel was original to the house and completely full. OSB upgraded us to 200 amp, pulled the permit, met the inspector, and left the basement cleaner than they found it.”
A short run from a panel with free capacity is often under a thousand dollars plus the unit. Long runs, trenching, or a panel upgrade raise it. We quote flat after a quick look at your panel.
Not always. A load calculation decides it. Many South Wellfleet homes on 200 amp service take a 48A charger without changes; older 100 amp services often need an upgrade or a load-management device.
Yes — hardwired, commissioned, and set to the right breaker size for your vehicle and panel.
Most South Wellfleet installs are done in a few hours. Trenching to a detached garage or a same-day panel upgrade extends it to a full day.
We file it, meet the inspector, and hand you the closed permit for any rebate paperwork.
