Something is wrong with the power right now. OSB runs a 24 hour emergency electrician service in Great Barrington — nights, weekends and holidays. Call (833) 652-8933 and speak to a real dispatcher, not a machine.
“Sparking outlet in the nursery. They came out the same evening, replaced it, and checked every other outlet on that circuit for free.”
“Fan on a vaulted ceiling that two handymen said couldn't be done. Right downrod, right box, level and silent.”
“Our panel was original to the house and completely full. OSB upgraded us to 200 amp, pulled the permit, met the inspector, and left the basement cleaner than they found it.”
Yes. OSB dispatches emergency electricians in Great Barrington 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Call (833) 652-8933 and you will reach a live dispatcher.
If you smell burning or see sparks, switch off the affected breaker — or the main breaker if you can reach it safely. Don't touch a hot outlet, and leave the building if there's smoke. Then call (833) 652-8933.
After-hours rates are quoted up front on the call, before we roll a truck. You'll never be surprised by the number on the invoice.
That's usually the utility's line, and we'll tell you so honestly. If only your house is out, or half of it, the fault is on your side of the meter and that's exactly what we fix.
Absolutely. Most emergency calls in Great Barrington end with the hazard isolated and power restored to the rest of the building, then a scheduled return for the permanent fix.
